It is less than two months till the end of my 1st semester in NUS. I know is kind of early , but partly due to motivational purpose I shall now laid out my plans on what to do this coming December with no merit of order :

1) Shop - realised I haven't really shop around in a casual and relax mind free of worries for ages. The last time I tried to shop around in Vivo , my mind was thinking on how to tackle my Asia history mid-term question. This is unacceptable when it comes to retail therapy , which is meant to be therapeutic.

2) Club - I haven't club ever since the last time at the forgettable experience at Taboo a few months ago. Time to hit the dance floor and chill occasionally. And I can't believe my virgin trip to MOS last X'mas turned out to be my last trip. Why did it freaking close ? Tsk.

3) Cycle - more cycling trips which are both relaxing as well as reflective. My favourite activity at the moment besides gym.

4) Gym - time to be more disciplined and pump more iron. Currently , I am visiting it just once or at most twice a week due to heavy studies workload. Holidays are a welcome break away from studies and good time to buff up.

5) Tuition - Time to see my boys again after a break since the end of their final-year exams. There will be some slight changes definitely to the line-up since 1 of them has decided to terminate my tutelage. Perhaps there will be a complete overhaul in the line-up. Irregardless of either possibility , my tutoring policy is very simple : Possessing the correct attitude and hard work are fundamentals to success. Anything else besides results are just mere talk. Teachers are inept in producing miracles ---> it always takes two hands to clap.

6) Gatherings/Outings : There are people whom I would like to catch up with. I feel bad for neglecting some of my friends. Apart from the usual activities a typical guy will do with his friends (I mean movies, eat, etc. Not what you are thinking) , a short getaway trip sounds good. JK was suggesting a short trip to JB to shop and eat. Something different and away from Singapore. Pulau Ubin is nice to go cycling too. And no , Sentosa is not counted.
============================================

These are the list of my plans to do in December. Then again , they may be slightly altered if I am working this holidays. Hopefully I do get a job. It is high time the stagnant numbers in the bank starts receiving a new lease of life by an upward mode.

It's into the wee hours of the night and I am still up. Just finished drafting out my EU mid-term essay that is due this thursday. Declined an invitation to sample a dimsum buffet today just to work on it. DIMSUM LEH ! That's my favourite. Sigh. Hopefully , my sacrifice is worth-while and brings me the result that I desire.

Nothing interesting happened lately. My life revolves around studies only these days. Apart from assignments and mid-term papers to be submitted , there are still plenty readings as usual to be covered. Thank God tuition has been temporary suspended , which means more time for me to devote in studies. My boys had been sent to the battlefield with my blessing , and it's their call from there on. No tuition means I have no extra income for the next 2 months+. Gotta spend more frugally, but thankfully my expenses these days are only transport, food and ink cartridges for my printer. I have been grossly spending far too much on ink cartridges ever since I stepped into NUS. So many freaking documents and notes to be printed almost everyday.

Satisfied my craving for cycling last Thursday at Bishan Park after school. A chance for me to relax and do some reflections on stuffs. Conquered the 'hill' twice and it was gratifying. The path uphill is strenous and not easy , but when one proceeds to go downhill it is relaxing and smooth. This kind of represent what life is all about. In order to succeed , the fundamental requirements are none other than hard work and perserverance , apart from uncontrollable factors such as luck , etc. At times I get tired and I wonder , why am I doing all these. Will I be guaranteed the results which I desired? I do not know , but I do believe in reaping what you sowed. No sweets without sweats , that's for sure. Then again , it doesn't apply to everything in life. Certainly not on matters of the heart. Look no further for evidence , for I am a living example.

Watched Money No Enough II on DVD. A funny and touching film , the best out of all the productions from Jack Neo. I like the acting of the granny who played the role of grand matriarch of the family. It evokes the tenderness in one's heart. Lots of nice movies these days but I don't have the time to watch them. Some are really nice , which I would like to watch but the problem lies with the lack of right companion to watch.

A pity we have missed the same train en route to happiness.
