The Freshmen Inauguration Ceremony marked the solemn pledge to uphold the honour of being a NUS student. It is significant as we enter into possibly the last stage of our educational life (discounting further Masters/Doctorate studies). After a 2-year hiatus from studies , I relish the prospect of striking a balance in all the priorities which I have now , with no merit of order : studies , tuition , gym/various forms of exercises , cca , family and occasional outings with friends. Other than these , the rest are just a bonus. If it happens , it will happen. If not , is never meant to be.
Anyway if the results of my tutorials' balloting goes smoothly , I am going to have a 3-day week. Actually , this was unintentional , because I was outbidded for two modules I wanted to take this semester. Sigh. Luckily , I have backups and hopefully it doesn't turn out that I made the wrong choices. Weekdays will be busy with studies , tuition and gym. I am an inveterate gym rat these days , visiting it at least twice a week. I know it may sounds masochism , but I actually enjoy the feeling of challenging the limits of physical pain. The feeling of knowing that you are completely out of breath , but knowing you can go just a little more is really therapeutic. Of course , social network should not be neglected too. I have groups of people whom I have not seen for ages. Do ask me out ! But preferably on the weekends though because weekdays I am occupied with the above mentioned matters.

Sang KBox with xiao lian :) :)
Gathering with other JC classmates on the same day. Attendence wasn't that bad compared to the previous outing. Probably because this time round I was the programme director and they gave face. hahaha :)
The world is seized by the Olympic craze this month and I caught some Olympic actions on and off from TV. I like to watch artistic gymnastics and my current favourite gymnast is none other than ..
Shawn Johnson !

Besides her stellar performances and angelic looks , what attracts me more is her graciousness shown to other competitors and her ever-ready smile. Girls with nice smiles are always a plus.
