So many things to do , yet so little time

My lifestyle is back to the life I led during BMT. Every saturday book out and sunday night book in. I wanna meet up with various friends for lunch , dinner , supper , shopping , pool , kbox , movies or just to chill out. However I gotta compromise with the situation I am in now. Only saturday I am free because sunday morning and afternoon is dedicated to doing household chores and going to the market with my mum. Apart from that , the rest of sunday is for me to rest and pack stuffs to prepare to book in at night. Even if I want to fork out some time for myself just to lounge in the living room and read papers , that will mean sacrificing time for other stuffs. Freaking no life. Week in week out , day after day , the only day I look forward to is saturday afternoon book out and outing later in the day with whichever friend/friends.

Training to be soldiers , fight for our land
Once in our life , bloody waste of time
Have you ever wondered , why must we serve
Because we have no choice , and we suck thumb have to serve have to serve....

Rainie's 2nd album autograph. Not forgetting the pictures taken at her autograph session but won't be posting here. Anyway do grab the August's issue Teenage magazine. The girl on the front cover is too cute for words.

Yesterday was Youth Day. I didn't realise it was a school holiday even when I boarded the bus in the morning. It was only when a company mate told me it was a school holiday then it struck me. No wonder the bus was quite empty. Usually my main concern in the morning is just to board the bus and find a seat to shut my eyes. Powerful naps even for just five minutes can do wonders , let alone a 30 min journey to the mrt.

The bus I took is the same bus I took to school in the past. Whenever the bus stops at this particular bus-stop and seeing my juniors all alighting and walking the familiar route which I took back then , thoughts of school life just swirl in my mind. Frankly , I miss school and I miss studying. Times of slacking and chionging with my group of friends. At least is much better than being an underpaid national slave.

While I was waiting for the lift at my block this evening on my way home , a little boy was looking at me with an innocent expression on his face. Excitement lit his eyes as he exclaimed " army ! army ! " because I was in my uniform. I smiled and waved to him. Then he suddenly turned to his maid and said " next time I want to be army too ! noooo...I want be police ! " I was like oh well , wait till you are in my shoes 10+ more years then I shall see whether you still have this passion. Nevertheless he is so adorable , just like his sister who is 1 or 2 years older than him I presume. Children are so adorable and I love them. I hope to have 3 in future. LOL. It should not be a problem , because my future wife should love children as well. Not should , but a must.

Probably this year's Youth Day is my last Youth Day. Turning 20 by the end of the year and the category of being a teenager cannot be associated with my status. How time flies. Going to be an adult --- a young adult. 10 years ago , when I was 10 and at Primary 4 , the route of secondary school ---> junior college --> university is what I decided to set my path on. In the process of course , collecting the necessary educational qualifications. I reached the objective , with a place reserved in my ideal university and choice of course , albeit spending 1 more year. Now , 10 years later , is high time I should start mapping out my goals. Dare to dream , dare to soar. This I believe.

10 years from now , where and what will I be ?
